Still stuck in Hotmail-land?
Great news for those still stuck over in Hotmail land. Hotmail is now accessible using POP3 (POP3, how quaint*!). This means that you can now access your Hotmail through any email client you like, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Apple Mail, and best of all, through Gmail! All you need to do is set up a Gmail account, go into the settings and add your hotmail account under POP3. You’ll then be able to send and receive your email through your hotmail account while taking advantage of Gmail’s cool features, like auto-save drafts (never lose that email you spent 15 minutes typing out again!), conversation-view (view all the replies to an email as one thread), a class-leading SPAM filter, tags, and so on! Welcome to the future, Hotmail users :)
